Vtg AO American Optical Aviator Sunglasses 12KGF
Well I've finally decided to sell something on the Ebay, my favorite pair of vintage sunglasses. Hope the next person enjoys them as much as I did. You can find them here.
Glass Treehouse mix tape
Just returned from a great trip to an inlet off the Chester river near Chestertown MD. This mix is what was playing on my ipod.

How to build a stacked stone wall
My mother, grandfather, niece and nephew went to visit a stacked stone wall in Alabama the other day or that was the plan. I'll have to call and see how that went. Anyway, apparently the man has been building it for the past few years in honor of his grandmother who walked the trail of tears, stayed in Oklahoma for 3 years, decided she didn't like it there and walked back to Alabama. (We don't do any fact checking around here, so don't be surprised if all of my facts are wrong, as Mark Twain once said
" Never let facts get in the way of a good story.")
How to build a stacked stone wall via NY Times
New stray I brought home.
I picked this up a few days ago thinking I would use it in the back yard but once I got it home and got a good look at it I decided it was too nice to leave to the mercy of the elements. It seems to mostly be walnut with oak runners and oak supports and heavy as all git out. Yes, it does have five legs and it's missing the center leg's white glass caster. Wish I knew some history on it, I'm guessing, turn of the century?
Old Parked Cars
Just came across this blog and I'm kind of obsessed with it. I like that the cars aren't in pristine condition and they tend not to be cars that are traditionally coveted. It reminds me of being young and rooting around cars behind barns and in neighbors back yards. You can see more here.
